Summary:
Our 1 bedroom home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, is very close to Saylorville Lake, and is a short drive to downtown. Our home features a kitchen, living room with a sofa bed, 1 bedroom with a murphy bed and desk, and bathroom . Additional amenities include a smart tv, wifi, and a washer and dryer in unit.

The Space:
This is a single-level home. You'll park in our driveway, walk through our back deck, and enter our home through the kitchen. Once inside, you'll find our fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, living room with a sofa bed, bedroom, and bathroom. The bedroom has a desk and a queen sized murphy bed that can be closed to allow for more open space in the bedroom.

Guest Access:
You have the entire place to yourself.

This home is located in a quiet residential area in Johnston.

Getting Around:
We are centrally located! We're about an 8 minute drive to Saylorville Lake, and you can get to Downtown Des Moines or Jordan Creek Town Center in about 16 minutes.

Cute little house, has a few issues
Let me start of by saying, the property manager was great! Unfortunately they were the only thing about this house that was great. There are a few things to know before renting this property: There is a sharp broken lightbulb cover in the bathroom, broken closet door handle, time that’s not properly sealed, and only one singular hand towel. The bathroom sliding door isn’t elevated, so you have to drag a 15-20lb door across the floor anytime you want to use the bathroom. Oh and it also gets stuck frequently, so you might get locked in. Outside of the bathroom, you’re not able to open the bedroom door without the tv getting unplugged, and the pull out couch was filthy and full of crumbs. (Although the property manager offered to have it cleaned again). There are a few more aesthetic issues that I’ll leave out of this review, but overall the property seems cheap and not well put-together. If you're just looking for a roof over your head, then it can do the job.

Uninhabitable property in awful condition.
Wide open window that would'nt close. Bugs. No door on bathroom. No bedding. No second or third bed. Smallest house I've stepped foot in. Mouse traps, bug traps and spiders. Should not be rented. Host would not answer phone, texts or messages. Vrbo forced me to pay for a motel room. I will never use vrbo again.
