“This was a great place to stay! We often struggle with accommodations when driving to Thunder Bay from Toronto because if we end up at a motel there’s nothing to do except sit on the bed and watch tv. Glenview fixes that! There’s a pool, you can walk around the grounds, there’s places to sit outside and the cottage was very comfortable with a nice couch and a totally separate bedroom. Our only complaint was the floor was quite dirty so we ended up wearing our shoes inside so we didn’t ruin our...

“By all appearances from the outside, this is a cute motel. Inside the larger rooms, it was quite nice when you first enter. Aged but not bad. The fridge temperature was lukewarm and wouldn't change. Beds were comfortable but 2 very small pillows per queen bed didn't quite cut it with 3 kids and an adult. The bathroom was atrocious. Rotten wood due to shower head spraying everywhere. Could not adjust the high pressure for the little ones. Black mold in the corners, mildew and calcium build up...

“The travel pivot came fast and furious. After the first pivot hotel I was not expecting much from this hotel. After a long day and an awkward check in I was off to my room. It was I surprised when I opened that door. I have paid more for many a hotel room that was no where near as nice as this place. I wish my schedule allowed me another night or two in that room and in that area. My only complaint would be that they need to get the longer shower head extension neck so one can enjoy the...

“For a remote location like Wawa, this is a very clean and safe property with a nice included breakfast. There is not really a lobby or sitting area, so if you are traveling with young kids and need to stagger bedtimes, there is not much besides walking the main street to kill some time. Otherwise, would stay here en rote through Wawa again.”
