“We had an amazing stay at the resort. We were especially impressed by the Private Island — the flamingos and the beach were all outstanding. The boat ride to the island was a lot of fun as well. The hotel’s location is excellent, being close to downtown, the port, and many great restaurants. Overall, we were absolutely delighted with our stay. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!”

“Room was perfect, cleaned every day and extremely comfortable. Staff in the whole resort was phenomenal especially Nelly and Darwin. The only grumpy face we encountered was the gentleman who stood in the entrance, he wasn’t very pleasant and made of feel like a problem. The Margot was the best restaurant with absolutely amazing atmosphere and food was unforgettable. Will be back.”

“The Pool and Beach chairs have a ridiculous reservation system. You have to reserve your pool chairs and if you don’t get there by 9:00am you lose your reservation and have to pay $60.00 for Non-Comp chairs, per day! The Beach chairs, if you would like to sit by the water/ocean are $80.00! They say this is for safety and avoids arguments over held chairs. I could understand their “safety” reason, if “safety” wasn’t $60-80 dollars! It’s just a quick money grab. It is a bad look for the Hyatt……

“This property was amazing! So clean and beautiful, multiple pools and beach access - the sunsets were unreal! Breakfast was so good we looked forward to it everyday and the cafe that was open until 11pm was great! The strip was right across the hotel, many places we had to go to we just walked across. While we did rent a car we felt like we really didn’t have to (other than to go to baby beach) as everything was within a 2-10 minute walk. Would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting……

“Very nice setting with the palm trees and occasional flowers that were well maintained. pools were very clean and also well maintained. The restaurant was a bit disappointing, the whole week of our stay they were "out of potatoes" not sure why, a store called Super Food less than a mile away had plenty for sale. The food was bland and didn't have any seasonings. The restaurant in the hotel in front of ours had better selection and taste. The room had roaches. about 3 inch long. 3 were dead……

“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”

“The location is perfect, being easy walking distance from, but not in the middle of, the heavy concentration of restaurants and shops. The property is well maintained, with spacious rooms. Beaches and beach amenities are clean and well equipped, with plenty of chairs, palapas, and umbrellas available. The staff was courteous and helpful, especially Jesus, who went above and beyond in numerous ways to make our 10th anniversary visit more than special.”
