“This is a wonderful small boutique hotel in the downtown area of Paris KY.. Very well appointed in a thoroughbred racing theme. The staff were great and very helpful in making this a very pleasurable stay.”

“We were there at a slow time, right after Labor Day. It was very quiet and we saw no one on our trail walks. Only a couple tables were occupied at diner, and we were the only ones at breakfast. The staff was great and I hope others wandered in to eat at the buffet because there was a lot of food prepared. The property is old, but clean and nice. There is interesting history. We would stay there again.”

“The property was as described. It’s a charming old farmhouse with a newly renovated kitchen with all of the tools you could need. Other folks mentioned that the plumbing is old and they ask that you put toilet paper in the trash cans not the toilet. That was not really a problem for us. The hosts ( and farm animals) were very welcoming. The property around the house is gorgeous and we loved the swimming pool. We didn’t leave the property for the whole weekend and had a great time!”

“This property has livestock guardian dogs to guard the goats and other livestock on the farm. They barked from dusk until 1 o'clock am when we packed and left the property. The dogs were right behind the house....no chance of sleep.After we notified the owner we left, for the above reason, she apologized and told us that was not the experience she wanted for her guests and we would receive a full refund. “Wonderful stay in historic and friendly Paris KY. The flat was bright, clean and comfortable. Full kitchen was so convenient. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of clean towels and the shower had plenty of hot water. I felt right at home there. The owner was very responsive to a minor issue with one of the locks. The area is great- plenty of genuinely friendly places to eat and shop- Lil’s and Happy People Coffee for breakfast, Trackside and The Patio for dinner, within easy walking distance. ……

“What a relaxing property! It is located adjacent to a large farm and overlooks one of the pastures. While we were there there were several young foals and young females who visited the area - particularly in the evening. It was very relaxing to sit outside and watch the horses in the field. The property had everything we needed. The kitchen was quite large and well stocked with enough plates, silverware, etc. for four people. The beds were comfortable and the shower had ample hot water. ……

“This property is simply amazing! The house is very cute, very clean and well-appointed. The grounds are beautiful! Seeing the mares and their babies every day was such a treat. Very close to downtown Lexington and also the cute little Main Street of Paris. Our host, Steve, was very friendly and answered all my questions promptly. We had no issues at all - I just asked him for some info on places to see, eat, etc. We had an amazing stay and I would love to stay again some time in the future.”
