"I recently stayed at Brisas and can't say enough good things about this place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and right at home. The view of nature on the property was unbelievable! I stayed in the newest building C7, and it was absolutely beautiful– the highlight being the new front and rear patio with a nice hammock where I spent peaceful moments soaking in the surrounding nature and view of the Volcano. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or relax in the evening while listening to the sounds of the jungle. The owner is one of the warmest and most genuine people I’ve ever met while traveling. He personally greeted us, shared local tips, and made sure we had everything we needed – he truly treats you like family. The front desk staff were equally fantastic – always helpful,kind and attentive. Whether we needed tour recommendations or had questions about the area, they were ready with a smile and great advice. And let’s talk about the breakfast – it was delicious, freshly prepared, and served in a lovely open-air area where you can watch colorful birds nearby while you eat. A perfect way to start each day in paradise. If you're visiting La Fortuna, Brisas is your best option. It combines comfort, hospitality, and the beauty of Costa Rica in the best possible way. I immediately extended my stay by 3 days as soon as I saw my room! Special shout out to the property pups, Roxie, Molly, Sammy and Cookie for being great company during our stay. -Golfiteño"

"Our stay at Bauma was fantastic! The staff were very helpful, parking lot was paved, jacuzzi was a good size & the bathroom plus shower were very spacious. It is closer to La Fortuna waterfall and a short drive into the downtown area. There is a small market down the street as well. We would definitely return back to stay here! "

"Lots of wildlife and trails on property. Close enough to everything but far enough that it’s quiet. Staff super friendly and having food available with their restaurant was a big plus. I’d stay here again if ever back in La Fortuna. "

The hot springs were amazing after a long day of activities in town. We were able to see sloths and monkeys while at the property which was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. "

It was the best way to end our vacation, everything at the hotel was amazing starting with the check in, the restaurants, the breakfast and a really nice touch which was that laundry of our clothes was included! "We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Check-in was extremely easy, the free breakfast was fresh and service was great. The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. The rain also sounded amazing on the roof at night. They also have private access to a river! Perfect location if you are looking for a stay in nature that still has the comfort of a resort. "

"Amazing experience. The grounds were so lush and beautiful. The restaurant was also great- fairly priced and quick. Drinks were soooo delicious. Also overlooks the lush trees and even saw monkeys from here!! Another highlight is the staff. Specifically Kenneth in the bar and Isaac at the restaurant. So friendly, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. This is less of a resort feel and more mountain cabin, but still has really great perks like the jacuzzi - we went in every night. Amazing spot!"
