Great property. Food was ok. Staff was very helpful. Hot water for showers. Nice beach chairs and umbrellas to sit on the beach. The room walls/doors are thin. Could hear the lady next door taking on the phone and heard every word. Shampoo/soaps provided. Bed was comfortable. There were lots of kids in the pool always. Had a nice gym for the gym rats like myself! Would recommend.

Everything was great the staff was wonderful. They made me feel right at home everything I ask for and more they delivered I felt very comfortable and safe. No hassling my guest they greeted them with open arms I will be staying here when I return in May Everyone was nice and helpful from the bell hop to the ones at the front desk to the bar tenders down to the clean up crew they where all very respectful. They got my vote for best hotel in Dominican Republic 🇩🇴

Having your own cottage a few steps from an amazing beach is a rare thing in this age of mega resorts. No steel drum bands, restaurants, or nightclubs at this property, but there is plenty of that nearby. A rental car or taxi is definitely needed. The staff is incredibly helpful and will go the extra mile to get you whatever you need. I absolutely loved this place! Staff were so helpful and nice. The room was nice and clean. We loved that is just a few steps away from town. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend it and coming back

We have stayed here before but first time in the premier lounge i can say it was a wonderful experience , we were upgraded to a great room ! service was great , breakfast was great even though it was full .

Best vacation resort I’ve ever been to.

First time to the island. This resort was absolutely beautiful. Two areas for sun and beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas, water sports… we never had to wake up super early to get a chair which was awesome! We snorkeled around the resort, saw lots of fish, star fish, and found about 10 whole sand dollars! Food was very reasonably priced and delicious. Drinks were good - not watered down. We loved this hotel-it was immaculate, magnificent view, outstanding staff, great food. We wanted to tell you about 3 things that you may want to improve upon. The 2 beds pushed together caused us to sink in the middle at night which wasn't good. Also the water pressure at times wasn't good & the bath gel didn't lather up.

The welcome drink on arrival gave the experience a special touch. We were awed that the same courtesy was extended on departure 😊. Property is centrally located, quiet, excellent food, cozy room. EXELLENT staff all around! Enjoyed the stay❤️

We spent 8 nights at Punta Rucia Lodge in November 2015. We had booked just 3 days ahead of time looking for a relaxed getaway for myself, my wife and our 22 month old son. We could not have found a better place for the three of us. The lodge is both luxurious and down to earth at the same time.
