Caribbean Hotel & Resort Travel Guide

Book a cruise to set sail towards a vacation of a lifetime. The adventure and excitement of a Caribbean vacation are waiting for you. There are hundreds of islands in the vast sea region waiting for tourists to visit. The warm tropical weather is one of the main reasons that thousands of tourists visit the islands every year. The beaches are pristine with white sand and clear, aqua waters. Picture yourself sitting on a strategically placed beach chair with a tropical drink in one hand and a juicy book in the other.

There are great hidden secrets in the Caribbean corridor. One little known treasure lies within the British Virgin Islands. There are 16 islands in this cluster, and they are all magnificent. Lying in a hammock between two palm trees, sipping on a cool drink and watching the beach revelers is a common realxing activity in the islands. There is no hurry to be anywhere, and the stunning scenery may coax you into adding a few days to your vacation. The hotels on these islands are privately owned making the experience more personal.

The U.S. Virgin Islands consist of St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John. St. Thomas is the most luxurious of the three islands where you will likely see yachts lining the waterways. St. Croix offers a more relaxed atmosphere that is less inhabited than the other two islands. On this island, sugar cane plantations provide lush green views for tourists to enjoy. Tours of the rum factories are available where taste testing is encouraged. St. John is a honeymooner's delight. It is comprised of more than 7,000 acres of park lands that entice nature-minded guests.

Jamaica is a favorite spot for people traveling to the Caribbean. Reggae music is as much a part of this set of islands as clear water and sunshine. Take a good camera when you visit these islands because the waterfalls and Blue Mountains make the scenery picture perfect. Dancing with a rum drink in your hand is as likely an adventure as scuba diving or snorkeling.

Caribbean vacations are for people who love the sand and surf. The options are endless and available to people from all walks of life. Each island has unique offerings that entice vacationers from around the world. Regardless of which island you decide to visit, you have a wonderful journey in store.

Pool needed to be updated. Bartenders were extremely friendly. Concierge was extremely pushy on timeshare tour that it made us uncomfortable walking through the lobby. People running the Expedia blue shuttle did not seem very organized and became a little bit of a hassle but we ultimately got back to the airport

    "Nice Stay"
My stay at this resort was worth the price without a doubt but it was not without negative marks. Here were my negatives: The Italian restaurant La Tascana was horrendous. The service was just fine but the food quality was terrible, almost as if it was served out of a can. The other restaurants were better with Yuca (Caribbean style) being my favorite. The beach was excellent. Only concern I had was the amount of bottom seaweed washing up which requires significant raking from workers to clean the beach. I actually got a rash on my leg from walking through it. The rest of the experience was a great. If you want to pay more, there are other resorts with smaller extras not featured at this resort such as slides into the pool for kids, waterfalls into the pool and so on. But for the cost, very good visit.

The hotel is huge and very nice with plenty of restaurants that offers good food..The train was late most of the time and sometimes we had to walk in the rain to the restaurant.. An evening dress( new with the ticket) was stolen from my bag that I only discovered few hours before our flight ! I will definitely lock my back if I ever go back to this country .. The hotel staff are the worst I have ever seen, whenever I call the reception to ask about something ,its either they dont answer or they hang up on you.. we requested a car the night prior to our departure to take us and our luggage at 5;00 am to the reception , but they were late and I had to call 4 times to explain that we have a flight and we are late bcs of them.. When I asked the reception about a local market to buy souvenirs at decent prices they said they only have one mall 25 mins away from the hotel but when I went there it was just a big mall with big brand names and not souvenirs as they told me.I asked the taxi driver that I took from the hotel if they have a local market so he took me to a nice one with plenty of souvenirs shops just like what I wanted but of course he doubled the rate..

"Great rustic hotel near the heart of Old San Juan"
We arrived off of our cruise ship early and ended up showing up 4 hours before check in. The staff was very accommodating and let us drop our luggage off in a secure location (locked luggage of course). They were so nice and willing to help. They gave us a map and let us know of some good local places to get authentic cuisine. The room was very large and offered a safe free of charge. The bed was comfy and we had beautiful shutters that led to our window/balcony. They offer free wifi in their lobby, which is nice. We also asked for pretty places at night and they were happy to tell us where we could hang out and watch the stars or see some nice places at night.
