The location in the jungle, near the Macal River, is magical! ALL of the staff provided warm and exceptional customer service - special shout outs to Florita, Dervin, Steve, Ebias, Leo, and Augusto. The complimentary birding tour was a delight and a favorite of ours. The Guide was so knowledgeable (we can't remember his name - sorry!) but we loved seeing the birds and learning more about Belize/Belizean culture on our drive back to Belize City (he was also our driver). All of the food and drinks were incredible - we especially loved the buffet when we first arrived and the nice cold Belikin - some of the best food we had the entire trip! We also enjoyed a couples massage, which was so relaxing along the Macal River listening to the birds and water flow by. We loved our cottage as well - the bed was very comfortable, the fireplace made for a cozy, romantic setting, and the balcony was our favorite spot to enjoy the morning Coffee Basket! :) Gio and Sylvia were both very helpful in coordinating our excursions and activities, transportation, and answering our many questions!
