Also we were never given a room key, just told us it was unlocked. Never did get a key in our two nights there but never really needed it. Overall very friendly staff but slightly understaffed.”

“Our room was very clean, but dated, regular maintenance towel holder pulling off the wall, no door or wall hook to put your towel on. Our door looked to have had forced entry, door casing dented by the latch, for was noisy to open. The ac was awesome! Plenty of parking however, very poor lighting around the building. “Beautiful property and nice shaded trees. The river was great to sit in and it was nice having Paonia only 5 minutes away. If Big B's is having live music next door, you will hear it, but it didn't bother me. George is very nice and a great host as well. Definitely will be coming back.”

“Clean and beds were comfortable. They are using portable heaters so not the warmest but we were not in the cabin much during the day. The view of lake is nice. They forgot to stock extra rolls of toliet paper so we had to go to the lodge to get more. Breakfast is one cereal or instant oatmeal and only available for an hour. The owners were pleasant. They did not respond in the app so you have to call them. ”
