“Staff are very very friendly and wonderfully ! But some of equipment in the room is not really ready ! Some guest on upstairs smoking on the terrace , some cigarette ash fell onto our terrace !”

“First time visiting Switzerland. From arriving to the Hotel views were stunning. As it was my Birthday they upgraded me to there biggest suite which was just the icing on the cake. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Bus stop right outside to take you to the slops which was free and literally 10 minutes drive. Breakfast was amazing literally had everything to pick from. The spa facilities amazing views from the outside pool amazing water was warm everything was perfect. Hope to visit again……

“Great Bear is a lovely chalet with breathtaking views in a unique environment. I cannot think of a better summer escape, given the stunning surroundings of the Val Hérens, the local cuisine, produce, meat products, and delicious wines. The chalet fits the rustic character of the tiny village perfectly, while affording the necessary comforts for an Alpine stay. Absolutely LOVED IT!!!”
