"Just back from a week here and after reading reviews, we can honestly say we weren’t sure what to expect. However, we had a lovely stay, yes it’s hilly (even the complex) but this wouldn’t put us off staying again. We were fortunate to be allocated a refurbished room and were down by the pool and restaurant. The food was usually nice and we could always find something, if you’re looking for nuggets, sausages etc for lunch/dinner for kids then it’s maybe not for you. Drinks were ok and drinking from a paper cup not great but we just went with the flow. The complex was clean, staff were always friendly and put up with some abuse from customers at the bar and restaurant which was unpleasant to see. The only thing we could fault was that we wanted to rent an air con unit for the room but were advised from companies that Laguna Park 2 do not allow them even though they have provided insurance documents as required so we hired an extra fan from the gentleman as it was cheaper than the hotel. Also, the beds are on the firm side."

"I can honestly say this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel itself was immaculate, the staff were incredible and the food and activities they put on for the kids was just next level. We spent 10 days there and we did not want to leave. I literally do not have a bad word to say - 10 stars!!! "

"We had a lovely 6 day stay in July… close to the airport with free parking, several nice pools and excellent food with great variety at buffet! Heated pool didn’t feel very heated but it didn’t affect our overall experience too much. Parking gets busy but there’s free parking on the adjacent street so it wasn’t an issue. Rooms were clean and comfortable. My partner has a nut allergy and Sergio in the main Drago restaurant went above and beyond to assist him with ensuring he could enjoy the full variety of options in the buffet safely - aside from this, his service was also exceptional and we loved seeing his smiley face at mealtimes! "

"The hotel was awesome with lots of amenities on offer. Loved that they have their own app where you could reserve your sun bed for the day. All-inclusive was offered on arrival which I paid for, however, I only ate 3 times in the restaurant so feel it was a waste of money, as I was out a lot of the time on excursions. There are heaps of places around to eat at your own leisure and a lot cheaper. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. "

Fab location bar staff and Alvis around pool fab - love it thanks for wonderful experience. Siam water park near by excellent. Best holiday ever very clean pool - restaurants fab too. 110% "

"This was our first time here and we were very impressed. The service, food and facilities were great. We were particularly impressed by the number of activities, it meant we were never bored. Lots of great staff but a special mention to Pedro, Mario and Bruno for keeping us entertained."

"Although it’s a 25 min walk to the front the taxis are quick and inexpensive. There were 6 of us and there are plenty of 6 seaters so this was a pleasant surprise. Pool is great. Sunbed frenzy every morning but in school holidays we decided to just join in and accept this. Had to wait in a queue from 8am until 9am to ensure a sunbed in school holiday. Self catering but well equipped. Very comfortable bed, good and powerful shower and large terrace with a sea view. Could not fault this trip. Only wish would be that it was closer to the seafront and bars but I would 100% stay here again. We didn’t try the food. Drinks were average prices €3.50 pint of beer. Lovely heated pool. "

"Wonderful hotel, stunning pool, reasonable gym, great buffet breakfast, good range of entertainment every evening. Easy and free parking if you’ve hired a car. Stunning views of the coast from rooms and from the very nice bar. Lovely rooms with decent king size bed and nice bathroom/decent shower. A good 25 min walk to main restaurants and bars (we got a taxi for €5 each way which took 5 mins). Nearby about a 5 min walk, there is a great Indian restaurant that we ate at, there is a Thai and Italian restaurant and a little shopping mall which is modern and a good range of shops and a supermarket. Recommended."
