“The host was attentive, but the place was under renovation, and he didn’t tell us ahead of time. There were holes in the walls, the shelves were dirty and the whole air was dingy. We had to ask for a kettle and pots and pans. There was no sponge or fairy liquid or sponge to clean the plates. The cooker didn’t work; we had to wait until the night (11 pm) for it to work. It was not as advertised.”

“Great location with fantastic views over the water. Really clean and modern apartment with plenty of space and everything you'd need. All facilities excellent, from beds to bathrooms. Garage downstairs is handy (silver key fob controls the door, and it's the one on the far left as you face the building). Key collection was easy and Peter was really helpful and quick on communication. We hope to be back. PS. Excellent takeaway from the Taj Mahal about half a mile down the road.”

“The accommodation is quirky, bright, comfortable and well equipped with fabulous views over the Firth of Clyde. We were able to sit out on the balcony on occasions despite having damp weather overall and I can imagine that being able to do that in a warm summer must be glorious. We found it to be a perfect base to explore the area. Kelburn Castle and estate is beautiful, we went via Glasgow on the train & subway to Govan to visit Fairfield Heritage Centre and went on the ferries to explore...

“Convenient location, but there were a number of items that could be improved for the next guests. I would suggest that the pots and pans be given a refresh as well as providing some cooking utensils that were more friendly to the pots and pans.I would also suggest that some documentation be provided for future guests to garbage/recycling procedures, local points of interest and/or recommended places to eat, get groceries, etc.Perhaps invest in a fitted sheet that fits the mattress in the master...
