"modern central hotel"
the hotel was central, easy location for most of the fringe activities. We found although it was clean and beds very comfortable it was noisy especially the toilet door.

"So convenient"
Had a 1 night stay. Dropped bags off and explored Edinburgh. Went back for our room and wow, it was amazing, we had a 1 bed suite overlooking the main road. It had 2 bathrooms and the living room had a sofa bed and 2 chairs, lovely to sit and have our coffee in. Didn't experience the food or restaurant but it all looked great. We would definitely stay again, rooms could be spruced up but there was nothing there that put us off. Staff were very friendly.

"Perfect location! Close to everything in town. "
We stayed in two different rooms. First was nice sized, pleasantly decorated, but on second floor, 51 steps up a winding stair( no lift). Staff will deliver bags, so be sure to ask. We stored bags at the hotel for 2 nights while we took a side trip, which was convenient. Second room was in the basement, much smaller, and only light/air was from remote control sky light. Not perfect but fine for our needs. In all, the service, food, and location make up for a small dark room.

Location good. Room very basic . Bathroom really old but always had hot water. Not much ventilation . No room safes. Wifi good. Think they are in the process of renovating which is needed.

Three Star Hotel Guide for Edinburgh

Edinburgh is a small city full of unexpected contrasts. In the centre you will see people going about their daily lives amid some of the world’s most iconic structures. Inside Edinburgh hotels you will find wholesome traditional Scottish food served with modern flair. It is an enigmatic destination that defies easy explanation.

Book a comfortable stay in a 2 star hotel – any visit to Edinburgh is a truly rewarding experience. Scotland’s capital was the first UNESCO City of Literature and the city is very much like a good book: thrilling, engaging and a magical escape from the everyday.

    Edinburgh City of Literature

Many of Scotland’s best-known writers have called Edinburgh home at some point in their career and this is a fact that the city is proud to show off. Edinburgh has many literary tours and points of interest for visitors, including the café where JK Rowling wrote her captivating Harry Potter novels. Of course, this intriguing city has much to recommend it outside of its literary appeal, with everything from historic monuments to parks and gardens and even the famed Royal Yacht Britannia.

As Edinburgh is a small city, you will not be restricted by location when choosing your perfect hotel. Easily find accommodation in different areas using Expedia’s search tool.
