“They have filtered water available on site to minimize 1 time use plastic but they do NOT clean or sanitize the glass bottles they leave in your room for you to use. Mine had a lime wedge in it from the previous guest...I requested a sanitized bottle (using google translate to leave a note in Spanish) 3 days in a row with no results. Took the dirty bottle to the front desk. Needed to find someone to converse with me in English then offered me a new PLASTIC bottle from the gift shop! Could……

“We had a wonderful stay at Emotions by Hodelpa in Puerto Plata. The resort is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is warm and welcoming. The beach was excellent—soft sand, clear water, and plenty of seating. The pools were also great, especially the swim-up bar and activity pool with music and entertainment. The food was very good overall. The buffet offered fresh options, and we especially enjoyed the Italian restaurant, which we visited multiple times. The Dominican restaurant was good,……

“The food and service at all the restaurants was great. However, the resort needs to be maintained better. The bed sheets, towels, curtains all looked worn out and old. The dressers and furniture looked like they were falling apart. The locations was great because it was near beautiful beaches and the most beautiful waterfalls. So if you are looking for an inexpensive places with a great location and good food and don’t care about the other details this is your place.”

“Brand new, Places is great, the staff is awesome. I traveled with my wife and two small children to the hotel. I stayed for about a week. I found it to be very nice. They had gated parking for my bicycle & for my rental car. The location for me was a good one just down the hill to Yenny‘s market also not too far from From The Beach. “Upon my arrival , I was informed my reservation was reserved at the next door property. At that point I was told to call my agent after traveling all morning after sitting in the lobby for 45 minutes. At the end I paid additional fees to stay where I made the reservation”

“The Resort is great but is in Need of Renovation and restoration ASAP . WiFi does not work in the room . Besides that the Staff are really nice and The Breakfast is TOP TIER. I would recommend this Resort To Any Couple. There are also Shows every night. Great place to spend time with Partner while relaxing .”

The suite was very clean, the food at the restaurants was vey good. “Nice rooms and dinner buffet. Really good food, presentation was really nice. Coffee available 24 hrs. Located close to the city center. Free large water bottles in rooms and they replenish them. Most hotels give you two small bottles or none. Nice robes in the rooms to use when the AC gets cold.”
