“Many years ago, Under the original owner this hotel was in much better condition. Unfortunately, it now appears neglected—especially in the pool and spa area, where the windows are noticeably dirty and seem to have been overlooked for quite some time. It gives the impression that little effort is being made to maintain or improve the property. Despite this, the hotel continues to charge high prices comparable to nearby, well-maintained hotels, which makes the experience feel disappointing and……

“The hotel was clean and quiet and we couldn’t hear the noise from the freeway, even though it was nearby. The staff were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast had quite a few things to chose from and was pretty good.”

“This vintage hotel in downtown Stevenson is perfect for dog walks, breakfast and dinner. I had at least 3 choices for dinner with my dog...and the river and cruise lines, shops and eateries are top drawer. Trust me I travel 3 times a year with my dog from WA to CO and back. I stay in lots of hotels and airbnbs. This hotel will remain on my "to stay" list as will the town.”

“Bathroom Ok equipped. Lacking washclothes, conditioner etc. Kitchen was great. Overall cleanliness was ok, floors and bathroom vent van were dirty. Host was very nice and helpful. ”

“Room was very gross. I don’t think this place should be in business. I blew up my air mattress and stayed because I would’ve payed twice as much somewhere else because I had my dog. ”

“We never got to stay at the hotel. They called us in the way there and cancelled our weekend due to a ‘ room emergency’. Then we began a nightmare of calls trying to get our refund being bounced between Expedia who told us to call VBRO who would promptly tell us to call Expedia. What a nightmare! I’m still waiting for the hotel GM to return my calls. ”

“I truly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful setting. My only complaint is, when booking a room thru a 3rd party one doesn't know of all the add-on charges they will get charged. I was charged an additional 70 for parking, ground maintenance, and other general stuff. What a surprise.”

“Very nice hotel. We were unable to book a massage but we used the mineral pools. Very relaxing. Went back to the room and our tv didn’t work. They were unable to fix. It wasn’t that important, we were tired and had our phones. The big disappointment was our dinner. The dining area and bar was nice but we were very disappointed with our meals. We opted to leave early and not to eat breakfast there. ”
