“Enjoyed our stay at the calabash resort, we stayed in the cottages and really loved the privacy and quietness of the property. The beach was very quiet and we enjoyed utilizing the kayaks provided. The overall property was very well maintained. The food was very good we really enjoyed the daily chef specials at the restaurant the service was also very good. “A beautiful resort, with coral directly at the facility. A couple of concerns: pay-in-advance for all-inclusive was far more expensive than just buying meals and drinks after arriving. A 2nd concern was that the food was hit-and-miss. The continental breakfast was great, but the other meals were decent about 1/3 of the time. Not bad the other times, just not excellent.”

“The service is extraordinary, every single person is willing to help at any time. You must take the all-inclusive package, otherwise, it is very expensive. The tours have to be organized on time because they don’t offer all of them all the days of the week. As soon as you arrive make your reservations for the restaurants to get a spot. This hotel is more for families than couples. It does not have nightlife. The bar closes at 12. If you go to Jammers ask for Marcellus. The best bartender....

“Our stay here was amazing. From the minute we walked in and were offered champagne to when we left. The staff are attentive and kind, the hotel is stunning and there’s lots to do. Loved the beach and the two different pools. Would come back here every year if we could! Only comment is our back door to our room, and side door didn’t lock which was strange, and the ceiling fan/air con needed a service so it didn’t squeak all night. ”
