"The manager was lovely and showed us around the room and let us know any key things we needed to know. The room was absolutely lovely, proper cosy country vibes and loved the special touch of a large bottle of sparkling and still water and cookies in our room. Would highly recommend as place to stay! "The bed was really comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, the location is great for getting around as the station is so close. I also appreciated that the window in the room could open as I like fresh air. I didn’t like that you could hear the footsteps of the people on the floor above. The air conditioning system didn’t make sense to me and was hard to operate so the room was cold, not ideal when coming out of the shower. There wasn’t a phone in the room so no way to contact reception if I needed anything, this is also very questionable regarding safe guarding. My phone signal was exceptionally bad when in the room and you had to create an account to join the Wi-Fi which I didn’t want to do. If in need for one night it’s good enough, but I wouldn’t recommend staying any longer than that"

Breakfast wasn’t worth the £20 we paid in advance and was offered at £15 on check-in which was a more realistic price. A good place to stay in East London and we will probably go back but without ordering breakfast."
