“If your looking for peaceful off the beaten track lodgings ,then this is the place for you. My wife and I have really enjoyed our stay here.The bungalow is well equiped with everything you need. The surrounding area is good for bird watchers with hedgerows,open fields and skies. Not too far (15 mins) is Barnaby sands marsh where we enjoyed long walks as far as Knott end and beyond. Gareth our host was very freindly and nothing was too much trouble. ”

“The lodge itself is a nice size and carpet and furnishings were clean and comfortable. I would suggest the en-suite showroom shower is blocked and doesn’t drain away and there is a smell from drains but not unbearable. The windows were very dirty and covered in marks which spoiled the look of the lounge perhaps again overlooked by cleaner but did look like they haven’t been done for many months.some of lower sockets in lounge dining room area worked then didn’t, loose connections The beds were……

“The room looked better than the photos online. It was spotless and everything was just right - the linens, the carpet, the water temperature in the shower. Sam was an amazing host - when there was an issue with the booking and I encountered issues trying to resolve it with the booking platform - she was helpful and reassuring. My stay was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - loved the granary bread and I forgot to ask Sam about the coffee - exceptional blend, I want to buy some.……

“Amazing stay would 100% recommend. Stayed in loads of lodges previously and this one stood out due to the little added extras such as doggy welcome pack and bathroom toiletries pack which included shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, body wash all stuff which you would expect to get from a hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful! Site was lovely and clean. Will definitely be returning”

“Lovely spacious property in a great location. Explored locally & short distances to other areas - we went to Morecombe & Lancaster for a mooch and was only 30min drive. Facilities great - lovely garden & hot tub. The doggy loved the garden as much as our children :) Was a fantastic area and house to meet our family from Scotland - will definitely be looking to book here again on the many occasions we meet up. Bedding and towels provided was great - especially the extra towels for the hot tub and……

“Unfortunately, when we got there, there had been a glitch in the system and the property, although vacated had not been cleaned and so all the beds were made and no clean towels and the bins weren’t emptied. I got in touch with the host who sent the cleaners in and they did a very good job of cleaning the place and said that they wouldn’t charge us for the clean so although I’d already paid it to the owners, I don’t know if they will refund it to us. .
