Several of the rooms were occupied as homes, and there were also loud dogs barking in a few of the rooms. We didn't even bother staying, we sought out alternate lodging. Expedia should reconsider listing this motel as an option for anyone to stay in."

"First off, Bea's communication is top notch. I kept thinking of questions leading up to our trip and was always super fast to respond! Her place is super cute and in a great location. Tons of cute little shops and restaurants within walking distance. The River is right across the street and we enjoyed morning walks along the riverfront before it got too hot. We chose her place because it was in between Gettysburg and Hershey, and we spent a few days in each place. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure, especially in the kitchen is crazy! :) Also, she saved me... I forgot my shampoo, conditioner and body wash at home and she had Aussie hair supplies and a lavender body wash in the shower! We really enjoyed our stay! She made our family vacation hassle free! Thanks again, Bea!"
"This is a lovely pair of buildings in a lovely location. If you like sunsets over the water you don't need to go to the beach, the Susquehanna is wide and slow and the adirondack chairs are in a perfect spot to sip cocktails and watch the joggers on the river walk and see the sun work its way into the hills."
"Pros:- location- friendly neighbor around the corner and her newly adopted dog - fancy coffee that wasnt too difficult to learn- living area- gorgeous bedroom- they even had a things for a sleeping or bathing baby- desk with a monitor- seasoning rackCons:- I didn’t have time to try the jacuzzi- I didn’t spend as much time resting - maybe a post-it to bring attention to the tiny pantry closet that was WELL stocked"
"Great location! Enjoyed walking by the river each morning and to a baseball game at City Island. Knead was a fabulous pizza place nearby! Easy access to freeway. Parking was convenient. Jonathan was an excellent host. Instructions were very clear and the pictures were helpful. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. We took the smaller Murphy bed room so we would be able to use the kitchen in the morning and not wake the teen before noon. lol. Would have been nice to have more comfortable seating in that room and maybe a small table for eating. As is normal for apartment dwelling, the noise of the tenant above us on the third floor was kind of bothersome late at night or early in the morning. We were on the second floor. Had access from front steps and fire escape. Fine for us but not a good option for someone with mobility issues."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Daniel’s home. The space was beautifully decorated with a modern, thoughtfully designed interior—everything felt brand new and state-of-the-art. It was, without question, the most immaculate rental we’ve ever experienced. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was perfect for relaxing after a day out. Daniel was a responsive and gracious host throughout our stay.We really enjoyed exploring Harrisburg—don’t miss the local market and the many small businesses nearby. The home is conveniently located within walking distance of the river trail, and it was inspiring to see the neighborhood undergoing such a vibrant revitalization.Though it’s about an hour to an hour and a half from Penn State, we’re already planning to return for a game weekend this year. A truly exceptional stay—10 out of 10!"

"I had a wonderful stay at Nan Wang's apartment during our visit for the Horse Expo. The location couldn't have been better - perfect for our event and within walking distance to local eateries and coffee shops.This was the CLEANEST vacation rental I have ever stayed in - absolutely immaculate! The apartment was exactly as advertised in the listing, and I appreciated how the modern decor complemented the historical character of the building. The views of the Susquehanna River from the outdoor porch were a delightful bonus!After long days at the Expo, the incredibly comfortable beds were just what we needed. We enjoyed cozy evenings watching movies and relaxing in the space.Harrisburg itself was a pleasant surprise with its beautiful historical buildings and friendly locals. I absolutely recommend staying at Nan Wang's place. Thank you for your hospitality and the special touches that made our stay so enjoyable!"
"Property is older which is fine, but there were some deferred maintenance with the ceiling and leaking wall in the bedroom. Expect to do your own dishes and wash your own linens at checkout. Dishes from previous guest were still in dishwasher. Spiderwebs on ceiling fan and living room light fixture. "
