"I was a little concerned with some mixed google reviews. However, we had an excellent experience, and here are my thoughts. The hotel is barely a block from King street, which is a main thoroughfare for food and shopping. It is a mile from City Market, which may be a little long for some, but we walked it with a toddler and stroller, and it was easy and safe. Staff was friendly and helpful. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only downside was no continental breakfast served the second morning, Wednesday, June 13."

"The TV in our room never worked properly. I told the front desk the first day and asked again. No one ever came to check the TV. It was out of focus. Also, the site advertised free breakfast and a pool; there was no breakfast at all… not even coffee in lobby and the pool was drained. The staff did not offer alternatives to breakfast even though there was a place attached to one part of the hotel. I thought it was closed. My room was clean but the stairs and outside was not swept and sloppy....
