“This property is in need of a refresh. The location near the harbor is nice, but the hotel is quite dated and shabby. There is a strong smell of deoderizer throughout. We were offered a room with a pullout couch and when we arrived, it was a rollaway cot that was clearly decades old. We checked out.”

“Beautifully appointed hotel. Service was great and staff were friendly. Our 1 bedroom suite was large and comfortable and was cleaned everyday. There's wine, cheese and crackers at the library area next to the lobby from 5-6 pm nightly, which was nice. There's a complimentary breakfast basket, containing a rotating offering of egg/cheese biscuit or coffee cake/scone with fresh fruit during our 5 day stay. We dined at the in house restaurant once and food there was excellent.”

“Good location and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed in large room with very large tv. Very nicely decorated and updated bathroom. Nice bar and breakfast. Everything I expected in a "boutique" hotel. Nice grocery store across the street to pick up a few things we needed.”

“My wife and I went for a long weekend and the Vendue was a great spot. Perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping and sites. The hotel had a great vibe. It put me in a good mood just being there. The artwork and music was the perfect backdrop. We’ll be back. ”

“Reservations were for king size bed and was given 2 queen beds. Had to make a big stink about it because they said there was no room available with a king bed. After some back and forth, they eventually, somehow, found us a room with a king bed. They did make it right by picking up the bar tab for that evening and breakfast in the morning. ”

“Did not like the breakfast presentation. Plastic silverware was low scale. Food selection was passable.”

“Valet service is terrific. Staff is mediocre, old rooms, small, out of date. Rooms were serviced daily but cleanliness was lacking. Breakfast was poor and expensive. I paid $6.15 for a diet Dr Pepper at the desk. Not worth what they charge d try Hampton Inn down the street.”

“I almost don’t want to share this hidden gem. Even though this hotel is small, it has everything you need for a great stay at affordable price. Our room was clean and spacious. Our shower broke and they immediately replaced a new shower head. Beautiful courtyard where my husband watched a game while we sat having drinks by the fireplace and listening to a live steel drum singer. The staff was polite and location couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be staying again. The only con……
