"We booked a room here online, it was late and we were traveling all day. The photos looked nice and the price was good, so we hoped for the best. We arrived late around 1:30am, tired and needing to sleep. There was a dog barking non stop all night in a room near ours. Our room, though it said non-smoking, smelled heavily of smoke and unfortunately urine. I am sensitive to scents and it made me feel unwell the entire next day. The contactless check-in was incredibly convenient, and the room felt elevated with high-end linens, luxury bath amenities, and excellent local coffee. We spent our mornings looking out at the quiet lake and our days exploring nearby Hawley and State Parks. It’s the perfect, peaceful basecamp for a weekend trip. Highly recommend!"
