“We as a family of 5 + a 3 yr old spent a delightful week at Penuwch Fach in July/August 2024.
We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect.
We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). “Was without dount the worst hotel i have stayed in. They have very falsely advertised the property. Digital tv ..only terrestrial channels on a tv so old the colours do not work so a whole evening without television. Then the disgusting fact they say soundproof rooms !!! I was in the more expensive seaview room. The sea can be seen from 3/4 if a way down a street but the room is above the hotel pub. By 9.30pm no tv amd the ridiculous noise i took the matter up with expedia. The only staff……

“Room was spacious with lots of amenities, but was not clean with damp smell. Toilet seats need changing. Water from both shower sprinkles with no force. Apart from these issues, hotel is located in a quiet area with good views from room. ”

“The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night.……

“Did not get a check in code as told I would 24 hours before I called Experian and was told wait till you get there I arrived stranded but just managed to catch the cleaner told her my situation and was told we have this all the time

The details are incorrect for the hotel they don’t answer messages and the phone number does not exist they also don’t reply to the email after I’ve been put in the room……

“What a gem of a small, cosy hotel! I booked a small double, but we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view, as it was my daughters birthday. Beautifully clean, with white fluffy towels, toiletries, tea, coffee and a fridge!
The staff go above and beyond to make your stay more comfortable....very friendly, helpful, kind and very generous. My daughter was provided with a birthday cake, which i asked for their help for shopping for one as a surprise for my daughter.....they didn't even……
