"The cabin was just perfect for the 2 of us and our dog, and the location in Custer State Park was just what we were looking for, in a weekend visit. The hiking trail on the property was a great surprise and the view was spectacular. Deb, our host, was so friendly and accommodating. We had a great time exploring the black hills, including the Custer Wildlife Trail and the Needles Highway. "

"Everything was up to par except the continental breakfast and the nightly disruptions. Continental breakfast was usually empty by 7 o’clock at night. Doors would be slammed, and kids were running in the hallway."

"Very basic hotel, very basic hotel room. Pros: spotlessly clean; excellent recliner and desk with properly placed reading lamps (!!!); good breakfast but very little protein; pleasant staff. Cons: not very sound proof doors and walls - I could hear the neighbors TV; little children playing (loudly) in the halls at 10pm and 7am.; be careful in the bathtub, it's really slippery. For the price this is a great place to stay."
