“This was a long way from the casinos”

“The whole hotel is in need of a cleaning and maintenance inside and out. The “casino” is a room with a few penny slots that is open to the public so people not staying at the hotel are coming and going.”

“I’m not even sure how to explain the smell in my room. It was something like urine and stale smoke. I stayed in the room for about 15min and then just left, checked into the holiday inn express. I get it $45, but wow!”

“We really enjoyed our stay. One thing we did notice was that the air quality in the room was very damp. Our swimsuits never dried, even after hanging for 2 full days and nights. Everything in the room took on a damp quality, clothes, paper, everything. We were wondering if something just needs to be checked out in the air filtration system. Other than the dampness of the room, everything was wonderful. The staff was cheerful and helpful. The breakfast area was a great space for meeting. The……

“This was a beautiful property and I will definitely be staying there if I return to Wausau. The hosts were so welcoming and made a delicious breakfast each morning. I just cannot say enough about how wonderful this place was. The most beautiful home and I am so grateful they share it with travelers.”

“Location was good…. The picture that expedia put on their web site made the room look really nice. The room was very small with a bed and a desk and chair… the bathroom shower was full of mold. They cane to clean it, but the bathroom is old and needs to be remodeled…. breakfast was just ok…. Typical hotel breakfast, McDonalds was right across the driveway though…. I just was expecting something a little nicer then what we got…..”

“Clean & updated. Downside was no hot tub in use. Average breakfast but at least there is one. Would stay again. Very good for the price.”

“The location of the resort is ideal for the traveling fishermen! The spot offers a convenient shopping plaza with a bait shop and grocery store, within walking distance. The resort is pet friendly, offers breakfast, has an indoor waterpark (currently being renovated; hot tub and pool are open), breakfast. The rooms are great, but can get pretty tight if you have a large group. Overall, I’m happy with the stay.”
