Ellendale Chalets

We needed a quick hotel book because my car broke down in a road trip. This was a great choice! The room was large and comfortable, even had an extra sink in the room with a microwave and small fridge. The breakfast in the morning was real nice andbthey had a snack bar that was reasonably priced. They were very courteous and allowed me to leave my car a couple nights after we departed, so that when we returned after reaching our destination, it was safe and ready to be towed.

Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, and I’d happily stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!

My children and I loved our stay! Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff made this hotel stay among one of the best we've experienced. The free breakfast had something for everyone and was an added bonus. Beautifully decorated room added a flare. Will be coming back for repeat stays in the near future without hesitation!!

I checked in very late (past 10:00pm) and was in no mood to deal with humanity in general. I walked in and the receptionist immediately noted my exhaustion and had everything squared away for me in under five minutes! Mood greatly improved, I asked if they had room service because I was starving. I was informed that it was too late for food to be ordered there but she provided me with four different options of local restaurants that were still open and delivered directly to the hotel. Very nice hotel and super friendly staff, location is very good too.

Pool is nice. Our room was big. Why we had to bother lady at front desk to go to pool was a little weird., should just be able to.use door key to get to pool Lady at front desk could have been more cheery. Seemed bithered everytime we needed something, but our stay was good overall.

Welcoming staff. You could smell the cleanliness when you walked in the front door. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Clean rooms (& I’m hard to impress in that department) with the exception of a couple of spots on the ceiling that I’m pretty sure could be easily cleaned off. I won’t say what it appeared to be, but they need to clean it off. Pool is NOT heated, just FYI. I only like heated pools, but the rest of the family enjoyed it. I love the large bottles of Dove body wash, shampoo &...

This hotel location was excellent with plenty of amenities to choose from.

Mar Bella is the PERFECT couple (or solo) weekend getaway. Nestled right between the coast line and the main city, you’re never far from anything. The location, amenities, rooms and guest services are all there in such an intentional way. Book your stay now!

The breakfast was good and servers had safe gluten free options a frittata and muffin they are individually wrapped. They were kind, friendly, helpful and kept the place very clean.

Very nice hotel and enjoyed my stay. Suggestion: There are no bars in the bathroom to hold onto either in the shower or around the toilet. I'm 75 and those are really needed to feel save. Elbert

Loved the hotel. This was my second trip to Delaware. I will definitely stay here in the future

The hotel was clean. Workers were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had nice selection. This will be my first choice for hotels in the future.

Front desk clerk was a gem, and very helpful. Room had been meticulously cleaned, all sheets and towels replaced from previous guests.

Had a great time!! Great location with stores and restaurants close by. Will visit this hotel again .
