“I would encourage you to make sure you are in the right room and near the right amenities. Our room was on the bottom level at the back near the lake. The room was aged. Pulls and holes in the bedding. ? Black mild in bathroom grout. Difficulty getting tv to work. Cigarette smoke and weed smoke infiltrating our room overnight. And when the people came in in the room above us… we definitely heard every footstep.”

“Honestly a perfect spot for the night and in the middle of our travels. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the free breakfast was actually good with many options. Shout out to Summer who greeted us. She was very kind and insightful on where to go in Barrie in terms of shopping. Only note (which wasn’t a problem for us, I just forgot to mention it as we were leaving) was our bathroom at times smelled like cigarettes. “We were unable to check-in right away when we arrived. We were early by 25 minutes, but had to wait 45 to get a room. They did upgrade us at that time. The room was good, but had a very strong chlorine smell that never dissipated. The room was quiet. A good breakfast was included. The area did have a few sketchy characters, but was convenient to shopping, the movie theatre, and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly.”
