"I stayed in the economy room so the amenities are less than other rooms which is to be expected. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Parking is challenging but available, just a little tight. Hot plate for a stove. Conveniently located for dining, beach and clubbing. "

"Excellent place to stay when visiting UCSD, it’s just 15 minutes drive to UCSD. When I took my son for UCSD Open House, we stayed here. The room is clean, has awesome breakfast, plenty of parking lots and free. The hotel is close to Highway 5, so it’s very convenient but not feel noisy at all."

We were able to get down to the beach easily, the bluffs made a natural wind break, and when it got warm, a short walk into the shallow waters left us refreshed and ready for the walk back up the stairs! "We booked this property based on the listing description of “direct access to the sand and sea,” along with photos that appeared to show a staircase leading down to the beach. Upon arrival, we were unable to find a staircase or direct access point from the property and instead needed to use a public access route down the street.The home is also part of a duplex, which was not immediately clear to us when booking. With a larger group, we did notice sound carrying between units and received a noise complaint despite using the home as intended.During our stay, we experienced a full-house power outage that lasted approximately 2.5 hours, which required us to reschedule planned activities. There were also a few maintenance concerns, including doors in the back that did not lock properly, a shower door that was off track, and uneven patio areas where some members of our group tripped.The hot tub did not reach a hot temperature during our stay. In addition, the floors appeared to need more thorough cleaning, as socks became visibly dirty shortly after walking inside.The location itself is great, but overall the property experience did not fully match what we expected based on the listing."
