“Staff was nice, rooms are dark. Even though they went through a remodel they reused the toilet seats and didn't update the furniture. Bathroom not cleaned well. The beds and pillows are a nightmare. I had to sleep diagonally so that I didn't roll out of the bed. So glad to be one night and now back home .”

“Beautiful historic hotel, but the AC didn’t work, and the room was hot. The hotel warns you at the thermostat that the climate control isn’t great and encourages you to open windows. However, two of the three windows were bolted closed, and the third had to be propped open with a closet hangar. The beautiful antique dresser drawer mirror pointed at the ground and wasn’t useable. Lastly, we were only given decaf coffee, and the staff isn’t available in the morning until 8am to assist.”

“The owners were super friendly to my children. We stayed in the Sterling room which was like a library! My children enjoyed looking through the books. My only comment was we had no choices for breakfast and my kids wouldn't eat the breakfast. More for me though!”

“this is a wonderful cabin. I give it five stars quiet ambience in the trees. The only thing we are bummed out about no fireplace. But beyond that, I would definitely stay there again.”
