“Overall, this property was as advertised. It is a basement unit in a home. The host allowed an early check-in with their friend to accommodate our flight schedule. They offered suggestions for local restaurants. We had a severe weather event during our stay, and our host responded immediately to clean up a small amount of flood water on a carpet in the entryway. ”

“I loved loved loved our stay. Everything looks exactly like the pictures, we were very impressed.”

“This property is very impressive. It was clean and in order. The bathroom is spacious and beautifully remodeled. The manager was completely accommodating. It is indeed a 5 star property. However, the neighborhood, which looks like it is in the throws of regentrification, is unpleasant in its appearance. Over a short amount of time this will change for the better. In the end don't let the look of the neighborhood discourage your stay here. It's location is a prime place to stay while in Oakland....

“Owner cancelled the reservation 2 hours before we were to check in. Memorial Day weekend in Oakland, CA. VRBO customer service did not help us rebook, and have promised to refund our payment - haven't seen it yet. ”
