“We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary with a fun road trip! We found the perfect spot to take a break at the Bourbon Barrel Cottages. The cottage was absolutely charming, and the location couldn’t have been better. It made our getaway truly special!”

The place was just like it said it would be and what a great experience from laying in bed watching nature, taking a shower with the a bucket head (must experience) and eating hotdogs over the fire outside! The host was great and quick to answer. Our dog loved running the yard! Just perfect for us!”

“Loved staying there for the night, relatively close to the Ark. I will say if I was going to stay more than one night I would like a fridge close to the cabin that’s not a community fridge. Even if just a mini fridge. For one night for one person it was great. It would be rough with two people and multiple days. With lack of a clean fridge or full functioning one. Deffintely a cool stay like I said for one night by myself. T.V apps were also locked and wouldn’t allow phone mirroring which was……

“We stayed a couple days and really liked it. We had 6 of us and it worked perfectly. It says up to 8 people but there is only 3 beds and the couch didnt look to be a fold out. I just have a minor complaint. They need more towels and better ones. They are thin and small. If you use the hot tub and shower you will run out quick with 6 people.”

“When our other Kentucky plans fell through at the last minute I thought that was the end of our vacation. Betty messaged us back immediately and saved our trip. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great time! The hot tub was secluded and had an amazing view of the forest down to the creek. The deer and abundant fireflies were an added bonus!”

“This is a VERY cute cabin, that looks and feels new! Plenty of parking was available, and the hot tub on the back deck was nice to have. The interior is nice, clean, and a very homey atmosphere. All appliances were in great condition, and there were plenty of pots & pans. “Cozy and very clean! A on the overall cabin vibe and functionality. We loved the hot tub and the peaceful views and having our own bathrooms for each room! The only downside is that we had trouble checking in. The VRBO app does not appear to be monitored very closely by the owner, and I had to be redirected twice to get help entering the cabin. No check-in instructions were sent ahead of time. I had to reach out to the owner for help when I arrived. Took about 30 minutes to gain access to the……
