“This was the accommodation I booked for an overnight stay before visiting Bryce Canyon. It was located in a residential area, so it was quiet and cozy. The place was very small, charming, and lovely. I could really feel how much care the host puts into maintaining the home. The kitchen and bathroom were also well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. I only stayed for one night because of my travel schedule, but I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. “Overall it was a great stay. The property was clean and modernized. The location was great for hikes, star gazing, as well as local shops around for the family. My only concerns was the lack of info on the septic tank, since teaching kids to throw away toilet paper vs flushing is hard, as well as the location having two groups staying in the same home, just different levels. “Lance, our host with LKChalet, communicated great before and after our stay ensuring everything was ready. When I asked if there was an iron and ironing board so we could touch up clothes for a wedding he went out and got one so it was there when we arrived. The welcome basket was an added bonus. Being the first guests at the LKChalet and this being our first trip in something other than a hotel couldn’t have gone better. “This place was very small but big on hospitality and thoughtful touches. The space is very well laid out and organized. It had literally everything we needed. We quickly felt at home and enjoyed our stay so much. We would even stay longer if we could have, and will remember it for a hopeful next time we come explore the canyon further. Tropic is a lovable town and a perfect distance from many places of interest.”
