"Our stay was nice but the furniture needed to be cleaned or replaced 2 cloth covered easy chairs. The tub filled almost halfway by the time you were done with your shower. I don’t know where the water came from, but after your shower I needed 2 bath towels to sop up the water. Breakfast was okay. View from our sliding glass door was beautiful. Many boats docked off the Columbia River. I would consider staying again but I will be more particular about my room."

There was mold in our night stand but I let the staff know and they were able to remove the night stand for us. I plan to come back one day! The food is amazing, the coffee shop, and bookstore is a short walk away, boats are beautiful against the sunset, and Cape Disappointment State Park is stunning!"

"The staff was so accommodating in moving our room to a room adjoining and connecting with my parents room, as we had made separate reservations and it was nice to be able to share a living room when we got there the next day. The rooms were on a top floor so that we had nice views of the ocean from our balconies. The sound of the surf is awesome. The location is right on the dunes leading to the beach and the start of the paved Discovery Trail…the front desk had bikes available for its guests to use for just $5 an hour and we enjoyed traveling down the trail and checking out the statues. Very dog friendly and kite friendly as well! Perfect place for kite-flying! And best bakery down the road at Dylan’s Cottage Bakery…a must."

"Our host was very responsive when we had a power outage due to a storm. The private walk to the beach was perfect for our medium size dogs. The the fenced back porch and linked dog run were just perfect for relaxing outside with them, especially with the added entertainment of watching bunnies graze in the yard. We had a peaceful evening outdoors around the firepit, after the storm had passed."
