"Breakfast was mediocre at best. For the cost of a stay, which also included an addition fee of $27 a night for onsite parking, the quality of the breakfast was not even as good as you would get at a much cheaper hotel, based on personal experience. It is a typical buffet, cafeteria style, adjacent to the dining area. The breakfast choices were also typical, but the lack of either bacon or sausages, was disappointing. Even worse, we then discovered that they were available, but had to be specifically ordered and to top it off, at a cost that f $5 per serving!! As noted, the staff and room were excellent. However, the breakfast was not what one would expect at similarly priced accommodations. One other point concerns the labelling of the individual breakfast choices: poor printing and several spelling mistakes - boile eggs, sarce (sauce) basically looking like a child had done it. - someone should be checking this. The other notable observation was the lack that of any food available other than breakfast e crit for a few snacks or drinks available by requesting through the front desk. There was wine in the room, both red and chilled white, but only by the bottle for $35. There were a couple bottles of room temperature water (should have been in the mini fridge along with the white wine), and not good quality water, judging by the poor taste. All this not to say I wouldn’t stay here again, as the convenience to downtown is a huge plus. I just wouldn’t have breakfast there. "

"Third time staying here. Its perfectly situated for restaurants, activities and the waterfront. Especially like the indoor walkway system that connects the hotel to Scotia Square (small mall with tims, mc ds etc) parking and waterfront. Clean rooms, well maintained pool and gym, friendly, helpful staff. Thanks!"

"Place was really clean but pictures make it look better and bigger than what it is and the building is old. Check in was smooth and straightforward but could've used instructions on how the heating works since it's not typical. Wrote to them about something and didnt get a reply back, not clear how to get I contact if any support needed."

"Our room 618, was newly renovated, very clean, spacious, well furnished and comfortable. A nice view of the harbour. We would rate it one of the best we've ever had. It has a fridge; a microwave would be a welcome addition. During our stay the room was very quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast also very good. The hotel is in an excellent location with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We would definitely stay at this location again."
