“Our initial room as already given to someone else so they put us in a different building, different room. Instead of ground level as we requested, we had to climb about 15 steps with our luggage. No night stands, no dresser. Went back to the office the next day and said we cold not stay in that room. Still our original room as not offered to us. “Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ……
