"The property presented as pictured. It is a little outdated but furnished nicely. It served us nicely. The lake really was not accessible from the property. We did not use the firepit, but it was there including wood and chairs. We did not use the Blackstone grill as people have not been cleaning it and we did not want to have to clean it and empty out the full grease trap before using. As all property in Ohio especially close to water( and it had been raining for days) there was a big damp smell, especially on the bottom level. It is centrally located to all the activities we were there to participate in. Overall it was a good experience. They could use some more coffee cups."

"This was our second time staying here. It was just as amazing as the first. The cabin and surrounding property are beautiful! Very clean and our bed was super comfortable! We had a wonderful time! Very relaxing and peaceful! We fished, walked the property, went out on the boat and had a bonfire! We saw beavers, turtles, frogs, lots of birds and butterflies during our stay! Will definitely be back again!"

"They maintanence dept. needs a bit of help, 2 broken washers, a broken food freezer and a busted first floor elevator button were a lot. The women running the desk, check in and cleaning were fantastic! Shout out to Amy, Rhonda and Shelby. The manager whose name is didn't get was awesome as well. I loved the kitchen and the bed and pillows were super. I will stay there again."

"The cabin was beautiful and full of interesting pictures, painting, and old nostalgic items scattered all around the place. It was very cozy, very well set up and very clean. The property had deer and turkeys on it almost every day and it was just a wonderful place to get away. If you need a little bit of quiet time away from everything else, this was a great place to go."

"We LOVED our weekend at John's cabin on Leesville Lake. The cabin is fantastic -- comfortable, loaded with amenities and decorated to the hilt with interesting stuff (you'll want to spend some time reading the hot water tank). The outdoor space really adds to the charm, and if rain is approaching, don't worry -- the screened porch means you can carry on your outside time uninterrupted. Having access to the community's beach was great -- everyone we encountered was super friendly -- and don't miss the chance to get out on the lake on John's kayaks. We ate in while we were there, but there are a ton of food options just a short drive away in Carrollton. And finally, John was super helpful, answering questions and offering advice whenever we needed help. We're already talking about coming back for a long weekend next summer -- that's how much we enjoyed John's cabin."
