“The staff were all extremely helpful and even left a birthday surprise for my dad in my room. I spoke to the receptionist a week before and explained that I was visiting to surprise him for his birthday. It was a wonderfully personal extra that they did not need to do. The rooms were warm, but that was the weather and they tried their best to keep the rooms cool. The breakfast was in the restaurant next door and so you had to choose a time slot the day before. “This is a fantastic location, conveniently situated close to the motorway network while still offering a peaceful rural setting. The hot tub and swimming pool were excellent additions and really enhanced the stay. The amenities are modern overall; however, the TV and WiFi were disappointing. The WiFi connection was very unreliable and barely usable at times, and the TV did not support streaming services, which was a drawback.”
