Easy access to downtown restaurants and events. Street is quiet and neighbors friendly, and a Hy-Vee Supermarket close.Be aware that bathroom and bedrooms are all upstairs. If mobility is an issue, be aware of arrangement. Otherwise, property is cozy and relaxing.Would certainly return when I revisit Cedar Rapids.”

“We had 8 adults and 5 children in our group for 3 nights here for a memorable Hawkeye football family weekend. It's older, eclectic and minimalist (kind of a frat house vibe) and could definitely use some TLC. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the driveway is quite steep so we were glad it wasn't icy. We did have a plumbing problem, but Elias was responsive and got a plumber on site the same day (which we VERY much appreciated). We had lots of room for all of us, and we even had plenty of……

“Loved the charm of this old house. The host was fabulous to work with. I gave it three stars only because it is an old house which still is in the renovation stage and it still needs some work. It worked perfectly for our family. It is not appropriate for those who have trouble climbing stairs. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if allowed to do so. ”

“Kadia's Place was exactly what we needed for a weekend stay in Cedar Rapids. It was clean, easy check-in and out, and excellent communication by our host! It is small, dated, and very basic but perfect for a comfortable place to sleep at night for my husband, our adult son, and myself. It's close enough to walk to Coe College which is why we were in town, and convenient to anywhere in the Cedar Rapids downtown area without actually being downtown. Thanks for a great stay!”
