"Kadia's Place was exactly what we needed for a weekend stay in Cedar Rapids. It was clean, easy check-in and out, and excellent communication by our host! It is small, dated, and very basic but perfect for a comfortable place to sleep at night for my husband, our adult son, and myself. It's close enough to walk to Coe College which is why we were in town, and convenient to anywhere in the Cedar Rapids downtown area without actually being downtown. Thanks for a great stay!"

There were several spots in the floor that were extremely soft and my 6’5” husband was afraid to walk on them, so he didn’t. There was an ac unit still in the window and it is winter time. "We enjoyed our short stay (just overnight), breakfast was good and room was nice. The only issue we had was when we got there to check in about 9:15pm there was already 2 people standing there waiting to check in. But no one was at the desk and one of the people tried calling the posted number and no answer. We waited about 10-15 minutes before Connie showed up. She was sorry for making us wait, that she was doing laundry.. She was nice and friendly. This clearly was a staffing issue and the hotel was 100% full. Not Connie's problem but a management issue. If you know you are going to have a full house maybe have the day crew worry about the laundry not the only person trying to manage a full hotel."
