"My 3 girlfriends and I stayed at Luke and Laura’s cozy lake side cabin in late June and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Newcastle area. The location was perfect, just under ten minutes from the main st area, with a ton of options to eat and shop! I highly recommend sunny side for breakfast and the shuck shack for lunch or dinner. "

"We stayed at the Boathouse for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted and more. The space is rustic yet comfortable and has a kitchenette that allowed us to make breakfast in the mornings and enjoy coffee and tea alongside our favorite feature, the wood stove. The shower had hot water and the outhouse was comfortable. We were able to unplug from it all and left feeling so rejuvenated. Hope to be back soon!"

"Our vacation in Maine has come to an end. It was a great stay at Peaceful Day Dreamer. We did have a couple of issues that were taken care of by Vacasa in a timely manner. We will definitely be back next year to enjoy reading on the porch, listening to the loons at night and of course eating all the lobster that we could. This rental is a great place to unwind and enjoy some family time with our loved ones."

"Stayed in high end and low end places. Normally don’t care about most things and just leave a good review, until something really irks me. So I’ll start with main thing. Needed to foam roll after long days of driving so did so on the rug. Now the light sucks and I didn’t pay too much attention. Normally I don’t have allergies but started itching and there was a really strong smell of pet dander. With poor light quality, wood walls, and a dark rug I didn’t notice the state of rug.
