“I was very impressed with the Harbor Bay Inn. The property is well maintained and clearly freshly remodeled. My room was spotless and very up to date. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning was great, parking was easy. It’s 15 minutes from HB, 12 from NP and 25ish from Laguna. Lots of food groceries and coffee shops nearby. Quiet area as well. Fridge and microwave for food as well. I was a solo female traveler and felt completely safe. Only thing I would note: there is only one lock on the……

“Hotel was perfectly fine, much better than the original one I had chosen. Bathroom had some slight black mold on the fire alarm, and I had baby ants in my room. Other than that. Perfectly acceptable.”

“I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation.
