"Hotel staff didn't care that construction workers were tracking mud on elevator carpet and leaving in sight big garbage bags full of junk. The desk staff was short and defended poor television remote control saying it wasn't hotels fault. Staff needs customer service and relationship training. I will not return or refer"

"It was what was lacking from the listing that was the problem-- there were 20 sketchy steps from the sidewalk to the front door. Those were not mentioned. We're 81 and 78. Stairs in general are things we try to avoid, but these were covered with leaves, ivy encroaching on the lowest set and with ridiculously low hand rails. Since there's no off-street parking, using the scary stairs was mandatory. The house was fine, but getting in and out was not."

"My room was not clean. The couch had animal hair all over it. It was so bad I did not sit on it the whole stay. I lifted one of the couch pillows and it had food and old candy underneath it. The floor was dirty with crumbs and dust everywhere. I would have found another hotel but there was 2 conventions in town. The phone in the room did not work at all. The dead bolt on the door did not work, I was very uncomfortable. I will never stay there again. The staff I encountered was friendly and...
