“Peaceful, quiet. I like how a guest service team member came to check in with me abiut a half hour after I git settled in, wanting to know if there was anything I needed. And they also built my fire for me in the fire pit, so I would have no trouble getting it going. It's those little niceties that make me feel very much at home. And allows me to truly relax. I love it there! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay, especially how beautiful the property is. Sitting in the window of the cottage, watching the views with coffee, was exactly what we needed. We can’t wait to get back again throughout the summer months, but recommend booking a cottage at any time of year. ”

“The cottage was comfortable and well set up. We will definitely consider going back: it's a great distance for a weekend getaway from Halifax, and the amenities are nice (that sauna!). The only issue we found (because we went to curl up and read books together!) was that the lighting in the main space was not great: a couple of floor lamps would have been great. ”

“We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Sunset Bank Cottage.Our goal was to relax, unwind and explore the area as we wished. From the cottage, we explored Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay and vistas along St. Margaret's Bay. Upon arrival, I knew the photos of the cottage looked great, but I was not prepared for how perfect the cottage was for the two of us - it was tastefully decorated, spotless, comfortable, and included thoughtful touches like hand-written notes about the area……
