“La struttura non è male , ha una bella piscina, anche se senza bagno. La posizione è piuttosto decentrata, ma ben servita da autobus. Andrebbe un pò ristrutturato, la rubinetteria nei bagni è datata, lo specchio nel bagno della stanza addirittura presentava degli aloni marroni da usura. Buona la colazione, ma non eccezionale. “I chose this location for its views, balcony and ratings as a romantic location to celebrate a very significant wedding anniversary. The hotel and staff delivered a mixed experience. While spacious enough and clean, the rooms were not necessarily aligned with the room rates. Some aspects were excellent and recently renovated, while others were a little tired. For the rate we paid it was a little disappointing. The rest of the facility had some excellent features and were certainly on-point……

“We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. ”

“This hotel is wonderful. The accommodations are comfortable and modern. The food is outstanding - the breakfast is just incredible - literally anything you can imagine, no exaggeration. But the staff? These are good people who go out of their way. We wanted to stay an extra night and our room was not available - so they upgraded our room at no extra cost. I am having a tooth-ache, and Francesco (sp) actually called his own dentist to help us out. Obviously, I can't say enough about our blessed……

“We booked a room that had a beautiful terrace looking onto the garden but the room they gave us was in the back so it got no light and the terrace faced a wall. We complained and they said the photos online are just examples. Not good value for money and the photos are deceiving. ”

“Beautiful pools and property but terrible wifi, dishes were filthy. Requires car to get around - restaurants are within walking distance but the walk to anything, including bus stops, is extremely steep and requires that you are in good shape (preferably not lugging around small children). Property on exterior is lovely but rooms are quite dated. No cafes near by, but they offer quite possibly the worst coffee I've ever tasted in an expensive vending machine. Beer and prepackaged cornettos also……

“Nice little room at a great location 7-10 min walk from ferry dock. Clean room, looked newly renovated. A little kitchen and fridge if you want to cook something. But lots of great restaurants within 3-15 min from room. (FYI, Description said sea view, it has not)”
