"Sadly, due to the timber fires, upon my 6pm arrival I was told that the restaurant and coffee shop would not be open, so no food. I had planned on eating dinner on sight. I was also told they were surprised they were even open. I had not received an email sharing about the concern of possibly being closed and that there was not any food on sight, but 25 miles down the road, in Cambria, we could go there for food. That was really inconvenient. We were told that the next day they would be having hot dogs and burgers...at 11, when we were to be checked out. Beautiful location and unfortunate situation due to the fire. I was not given a break in price due to the lack of accommodations. Communication matters."
