"We attended a May wedding nearby so decided to rent via VRBO rather than the expensive hotel rates around college graduation time. Very pleasant stay in spite of being off season. Our dog played on the beach and in the water with the neighbors friendly young dog. Nothing is super close out there (as is the case with most of the Finger Lakes region), but there are some great restaurants in the nearby towns, beautiful state parks and tons of water activities. "The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. "The location is good. The house is nice. However the king size bed is very bad. The head board end is 4” lower than the foot end. I had to sleep Backwards on it. It’s unacceptable."
