“A bit disappointed. We have stayed here on and off for years and this last time we noticed that the place was a bit more run down. It’s still quite nice however. Staff was friendly and it’s in a perfect location. We love the Auburn and Skaneateles area. Skaneateles is quite expensive to stay there for any length of time. We will most likely return here though.”

“We were surprised to receive an upgrade to our room when we arrived. Everything was clean and the staff was more than accommodating. Breakfast was just okay, but good enough. The Inn was quiet, even when meetings were being held on the first floor. Parking was free and abundant. Lovely old inn that was close to shopping, dining and the lake.”

“Photos are deceiving. The rooms were dirty, floor and the bathrooms were not cleaned at all. ”

“This is an old-fashioned motel - one floor with parking right in front of your door. We stayed one night for a wedding in the area. The rooms were basic and clean; the bed was comfortable. The price seemed a bit high for what it was, but that may well be because of high demand near Skaneateles on a Saturday night in August. Nonetheless, I'd suggest their considering an update of their air conditioning at some point as it was a windo-type model inserted through the back wall, As such, it didn't……

“I have to go back again soon! This was a nice spot to relax, play golf, and eat some delicious food at the restaurant next door. There is an apple orchid place you can visit down the street and had different apple wines that were delicious to try! We also visited the song ski resort and had dinner at the restaurant on sight. Chef Ramon was a wonderful chef who came out and greeted us. His food was delish!!!! Thank you for our complementary dessert. Over all the cabin was a wonderful stay, ……

“I am a regular here now since August 2025. The cabins are beautiful, the nature is grand, the View restaurant is right there & crazy good, & there's golf. Then there's the fabulous View staff, the lively sports lovin' patrons, the bar, the fun, the quiet, the rest. It's just a wonderful haven that I feel lucky to have found.”
