"We were greeted pleasantly by staff at check in. Lobby was clean and neat. But the staircase was dirty w dried mud from boots (guests working construction like jobs.) The room was visibly tired. Sheets and blanket were thin and worn. Curtains were missing hooks so they couldn’t stay closed properly. Breakfast was less than average though we did find yogurt and fruit."

"Room was flooded with water from refrigerators, finally got it cleaned up and was able to go to bed after midnight. "

"Check in easy and clerk gave excellent dining recommendations. Room floor not as clean as should have been. Previous guest left food in the refrigerator. Breakfast adequate. A/C would not allow continuous fan. Still a good value. "

"We loved staying here - a perfect place to relax and spend time with family.A well put together space with lots of thoughtful touches.The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and we could cook as if at home, maybe even better than home.The lakeside location is gorgeous and we day tripped to Muscle Shoals and local hiking spots.The host was very communicative and friendly, even recommending somewhere for us to stop off on our drive from Birmingham.Would certainly recommend."
