Two of us stayed there, one in the bedroom and the other on the futon, both very comfortable; and, with two bathrooms it was pretty luxurious compared to having to share one hotel room as an alternative. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped and so easy to walk out the front door to roam around Portsmouth on foot. “The apartment is right in the middle of the shopping in downtown Portsmouth, but also looks out over the Piscataqua river and the tugboats. Though it’s in an 18th century building, it has been updated and is very comfortable. The cooking facilities are adequate, although I don’t think I’d prepare a Thanksgiving dinner there be aware that there are stairs to go up and they are somewhat steep, but I was stay here again without hesitation.”

“This lovely old home has the most modern interior that is a comfortable distance to Portsmouth without being in the city. Attention to detail was evident in the cleanliness as well as the fully stocked beverages that can be added to your bill. I was able to reach Doug immediately concerning check-in as I was having trouble getting my home internet and he was so helpful. Should we come back again we will definitely stay here as they even allowed our 58 pound dog Emma to be with us. Emma loved……
