“This is a beautiful historical home, located just about a half mile walk to the beach. There are many nice touches, like board games and beach towels. The beds were comfortable, and the set up of having four bunk beds worked so well for our situation. As an historic home, there is not central A/C, but every room has a window unit, and this really worked well to cool the place down. There are many dishes in the home, but they are all quite fancy, so if you have small children I suggest……

“One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The cottage and garage apartment and charming patio were absolutely perfect for us, our adult son, and our daughter and her fiancé. The nicely appointed kitchen made it easy to accommodate dietary restrictions. Quiet neighborhood was within easy walking or driving distance of everything we wanted to do in Galveston. The hosts have thought of everything. We can’t wait to come back.”

“My family and I really enjoyed the stay at this property! It was perfectly suited for us and our golden retriever. We stayed in the lower of the two units. The interior is nice. The bathroom is well designed for rinsing off, and there is even a small washer/dryer. The back yard area is really great. We didn't use it much, but there is a nice grill ready to go, along with lots of shaded patio seating. Also in the garage there were bikes available to use, which was awesome since the beach is……
